I designed an editorial layout for a magazine article exploring worker depression in Japan. Written by Shiho Fukada and featuring photographs by David Guttenfelder, the article examines the decline of traditional 'salarymen' roles, the impact of excessive work hours, and the resulting mental health struggles. My design approach aimed to enhance the storytelling through a visually compelling and thoughtful layout that reflects the gravity of the topic.
