I designed an editorial layout for a magazine article exploring worker depression in Japan. The article, written by Shiho Fukada and featuring photographs by David Guttenfelder, the article examines the decline of traditional 'salarymen' roles, the impact of excessive work hours, and the resulting mental health struggles. My design approach aimed to enhance the storytelling by creating a visually compelling and thoughtful layout that reflects the article’s serious themes.
